Dimer Cutlet (Egg Cutlet)

Egg Cutlet is a very mouth watering easily made evening  snacks. Made from Eggs mainly, is very appealing to kids.
Ingredients:

For Cutlet Mixture:
Hard boiled eggs - 4 nos
Potatoes(medium) - 2 nos
Onion(big) - 1 no
(finely chopped)
Green chillies - 6 - 8 nos
Garlic paste - 2 tsp
Ginger - A small piece
Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Salt - As reqd



For frying:
Besan (Gram Flour) - 5 tbsp
Egg(beaten) - 1 no
Bread crumbs - 1 cup
Oil for frying

For Garnish:
Sour Tamarind - 4 pieces
Sugar - 3 tbsp
Green Chillies - 3 no
Fresh Lemon juice

Cooking Instructions:



Step 1:
Cook potatoes well and drain the water.
Mash the potatoes and add to the pan along with salt and pepper.Keep aside.
Step 2:
Cut the eggs into halves and remove the egg yolks.
Step3:
Heat oil in a pan.
Saute onion, green chillies, garlic, ginger and curry leaves, till brown.
Saute for 2 minutes and remove from heat.
Step 4:
Add the boiled egg yolks to the pan and mix well.
Step 5:
Take an half of boiled egg white and fill it with the potato, egg yolk mix and press well.
Step 6:
Take a small bowl, add besan and water. Make smooth mixture by repeatedly beating. Finally beat an egg to the mixture. Mix it well. keep aside.
Step 7:
Dip the cutlet in the beaten egg-besan mixture and roll it on the bread crumbs.
Step 8:
Deep fry in oil.

Garnish:
Step 1:
Clean the tamarind . Remove the seeds.
Smash the tamarind and make a paste.
Step 2:
Add water to make it as think as a ketchup.
Step 3:
Cut the green chillies in small pieces.
Add them to the tamarind paste.
Step 4:
Finally add few drops of lemon to it.

Serve hot.
